Background

Acronyms is a consolidated Citi platform linking Federal and Management reporting, analytics and systems across Finance, Risk, Assessments and Compliance ensuring the usage of a common taxonomy globally. Insight is supported by the core Technology Services within global functions technology services organization. This app is web based.

Citi Investment is known for delivering high returns both in the short and long term and providing steady cash flow for each investment. The global investment sector is expected to reach a market size of $1 trillion by 2030 and contribute 13% to the US investment market by 2025.

From a survery of 139/ 500 interal employees and 25 face to face interviews. The survey is designed for each internal investing team- based on current tools and future perspectives.

Retail investors now represent 54% of total market turnover, a significant rise from 49% in Q1 2023, demonstrating their growing prominence in market transactions.

This design aims to create a seamless experience for users from the moment of launch, ensuring they can easily navigate the tool, access essential information, and provide feedback for continuous improvement.

The tool should be “light weight and able to be used on portable device. Since the market changes rapialy, they would like to get access to their ideal view of data immediately, they tool should be easy to navigate for them without IT’s help.

Representing this relationship allows the users to instantly compare both across a variety of areas including: channels, regions, demographics, products, engagements and much more.
Smart Filters allow user to navigate to specific data sets, drilling into the data while keeping context of where is using coming from. At the same time, based on Machine learning, the smart fiter will suggest users to those trends which may need their extra attention.

Without an adequate number of features, it will not be possible to support more teams.

Additionally, although the concept is new, it is slowly gaining momentum. Ensure that your platform’s infrastructure can handle increased usage by scaling server capacity, optimizing performance, or adopting cloud solutions.

Lack of Trust in the Investment

With a new type of investment, teams may be hesitant to commit their time, particularly those who are risk-averse or unfamiliar with the concept.

Our platform is designed to be efficient. The team has granted it pass-through status, meaning that when the platform receives rentals and distributes them to shareholders, it is treated as a pass-through flow and will not be serviced. The assets are typically secured by long-term leases,minimizing risk to the team.

Users Not Understanding the Platform Concept

There is a possibility that users may not fully grasp the concept of the platform, even after reviewing explanations or learning materials.

The product team will provide comprehensive information to ensure that even first-time users can easily participate. Every step will be explained,and a free trial along with a course will be offered to better equip users. Additionally, users can set up care to communicate directly with the product team with the right guidelines.
